would there be much interest??

i am getting my hands on a 325 touring next week and was just wondering if there would be much interest if i was to break the car i have bought it for the engine (lower miles than my engine)

basically everything else will be for sale minus the engine,few bits and bobs from the interior

wot u guys think???

y not swap ur engines over totally.
and then sell it back on

might be easier than breaking and flogging bits

tbh the general condition isnt too good its an 89 'f' plate car with no mot or tax and chrome arches 8O

i will put pics up i should be getting it at the weekend

If you're prepared to totally break it down to the last bits (about 3-4 days work depending on work rate) and then sell every part including postage etc then you can make about Ԛ£500-Ԛ£600 from the parts.

ok guys here the deal i got the car last night and have had a good look at it it has grey leather rear seats door cards but no front seats the body isnt actually as bad as i thought if i didnt have my cab i would be putting this back on the road

sorry i am taking the underdash cowling from it but after i remove the engine i would be willing to accept no more than 300 for the car!!

it has alloys on it too but i am not sure of the type all i have been told is that they are genuine bmw wheels

they have about 10 spokes and have a slight dish on them they are 15s

if any of you need any parts then get in touch i will put it in the breaking section when the engine has came out

i will also put pics up tomorrow

Who is fitting your engine? How much are they charging you? Just quite interested to get a ballpark figure of what this would cost were the engine in my sport to go bang. Nothing really that wrong with it, I'm just a pessimist. :(

I somehow knew you were gonna say that. Never mind, how much would you charge to do the job? Not asking you, just wondered how much of a mission it is....
