Replacement clutch-how much?

Hi,looking to price a replacement clutch for a 320i Convertible,anyone able to give a ballpark figure as to what would be a reasonable price?Or how many hours labour?Cheers,Noj66

when my clutch went i got a new one from gsf for £120 and charged £75 to have it fitted. im down in cornwall though so dont know how much charges vary

Wow,i'd been lead to believe its a gearbox out job,£400ish.Bit reluctant to shell that kind of money out while it's still driveable.

it is a gearbox out job bud, 3hours labour i was charged. thats what the book says. £400 seems a huge amount to pay for that :l i would say just shop around

I had one put in for aprox £200 as well.. OEM equiv part from ECP and a couple hours labour to a man who can.

I could fit this for you for £250 with the clutch included in the price

dont attemp it yourself if your not too mechanical minded! My cars in pieces just to save a few bob :cry:
