Pre-facelift gearbox and facelift engine...

hi,
Quick qu...
Will a box from a pre-facelift 320 fit ok onto a facelift 2.5? I understand that the pre-facelift has two box sensors and that i can just bung one of those up? Presume the flywheel, clutch etc from the 320 will be ok aswell?

Will be fine fella. Will be just like having a sport box but not as strong.

I have a 2.5 prefacelift sport box if you want one, with the 2 sensors on the g/box.

Sensors arnt needed on a face lift engine
I have a facelift 2.5 box cheap

Think the Pre facelift can be used in a facelift, just need two blanking plugs for where the censors were/are.

Thats true but if a face lift box is going for £25 might as well take the right box for the job

cheers guys. Sounds like it should all be ok. Do I use the 2.0 flywheel etc?
Rav/Town325 - I'm actually trying to source the parts for a manual conversion at the same time as fitting the engine so if you have any bits as well as the box drop me a pm. Cheers

All i have is the gearbox thats it i could do you a deal on the 320i selector bits from the manual box if you have them

I've got a 320 auto and a 2.5 engine so need a manual box and conversion parts. What selector parts are you talking about?!
