E30 Zone

The other day i fired up a thread asking about a badge on my centre sonsole but i didnt have a picture so it was deemed as a useless topic. I now have a picture of it, from what i can make out its St christopher?

One of my mates said he had the same thing in his E30 saloon but he wasnt sure what it meant.

any help?

Looks like a st.Christopher to me? Maybe a bible bashing thing similar to the fish they stick on their cars

But my mate had one in his old '30 and it was in the excact same place?

there is no other evidence of bible bashing barr the Font and crackers i found in the boot?

ok panic over, ive just spoken to a guy thats knows alot of car hsitory and is rather religeous and it appears that St. christopher is/was the saint of travel and if you say a prayer to him before you travel you'll be fine etc, But apparently St.christopher was removed as a canon saint by the catholic church so it appears that its nothing more than a good luck charm now.
