The price of nipples these days

Hiya, my brake nipples are getting a bit worse for wear and I was going to replace them asap before something annoying happens...
I did a search on here but couldn't find anyone that has found them for sale other than £5 odd a pop at the dealers.

There are people selling stainless nipples on ebay for about a quid but I can't seem to find any in the odd BMW size (M7 !?).

Has anyone had any luck with finding cheap replacements or stainless etc before I blow £20 on a set and cry all the way home?

Ta in advance,
James

Give biggred a try, I had some from them when I bought the seal kits, sure they weren't that expensive.

Have you tried some of your local garages?

They usually have a stock of brake fittings/nipples etc.
My locals do anyway

Hmm good point, I was far too lazy to think of removing them first and going somewhere!

I had a look at big red's site, now I fancy some refurb calipers. Those prices look pretty tempting to be honest, and since they will include the nipples in the refurb I'm tempted to just hang on a few months and have them done all shiny and new....
Thanks.

If you are using Stainless ones, make sure you get some anti-seize paste as well.

Seized nipples are nasty, had a mare with one this week, ended up re-tapping the 7mm thread out to 8mm and using a bigger nipple

Expensive nipples - :D
