It was accesspecialist's idea.
I also believe Simon did this a while ago, but the map no longer exists... so create a new one?
Unfortunately, you have to create an account, which takes about 2 minutes of your valuable time!

ground zero is where the old World Trade Centre stood in New York City prior to the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001. Perhaps its fortunate that you are furthest from there in hindsight, Will.

Added (finally) - jeeeeez that was confusing.
For anyone else who is as thick as I am you need to register, then click 'Edit Map' to add yourself (at least that's how I got it to work!).

Yup.
You need to sign up to add a location to the map. Its not the best site ever, but it only needs to be done once, and it doesn't take long
