Bit of a mare with the roof!

Tried putting the roof back up tonight and it didn't pull into thelockers at the front. The bar with the seal that runs across the top of the drivers window didn't straighten and I had to use a bit of brute force. Managed to lock it down but it's not sealing against the horse shoe. Seems the tension wasn't right, any ideas folks?

Hum,brute force worries me...
Mine just drops into place, when it has'nt,there's been something not in the correct place.
Initial thoughts centre around the tension straps, are they in the correct place?
Hood falling closed properly?
Horseshoe locking into place correctly?

Manual mate - taken a quick look at all the bars and not seem to be out of place or bent - just not lining up properley......worrying!

have you oiled /greased the mechanism...has the roof moved back on the mountings ..check if it is loose on there...did it drop back fully at the back ...

will have a closer inspection and hopefully nothing more than a lose bolt or two - really not wanting to purchase a new roof!

found the problem - there is a self tapping screw worked it's way lose which holds two bits of the frame together (behind the hood where the C pillar would be on a hard top) - gonna have a crack at it this weekend, means peeling the canvas away from the frame and re-bonding it - YIKES!
Will let you know how it goes..........
