Thats one decent motor, .had the opportunity to buy an e30 m3 ten years back for 4 grand still regret not taking it now

how much would a build like this cost? and how long do you think it would take? i know minimum it would be around 10k?

im currently tinkering with an S50B32 which is going in an M3, wouldnt hold a candle to that beast but should be lively all the same, costs can go out of control in the blink of an eye if you want to do a good job. 10k wouldnt get you far down the road im afraid.

If you follow the us e30 m3 m5 v10 build thread including the v10 subframes that would be more like a 50k build

bloody hell i know the engine alone costs 10k and thats for a 4 year old one and that doesnt include transmission etc btw! im not thinking of trying this lol just for a bit of knowledge

the engine would be about 10k, gearbox probably 5k?, i think you could mount it in there with mounts, probably need some modifaction to fit due to the size of engine/gearbox...... i think i you had the know ow about 20-25k would see it done, there wouldnt be a car that could touch it for that money i dont think.....

lol, me to after i read it back, what i meant was, the one i see built was complete running gear on a chassis and the shell mounted on to it with all new parts......

That used E9x front and rear subframes, not ones from a V10 E60 M5.
