jap wheels on an e30?

Do jap wheels work? dont mind these but theyl suit anything they are pretty much perfect. But on an e30?

I think it depends on what theme you are going for... If you are building a drifter then jap wheels look good.. Apart from that I think they look horrid.

They look like rota grids to me. You can get them in 4x100 now.

I have Jap wheels on my car, albeit they are Work Rezax 3 piece jobbies, they are still Jap wheels.

I think sometheing like the ones in the pics looks nice. I dont think it would look right on a non moded car though. Maybe Tech 2 kit and a nice drop 8)

What is the story with the tyre ? Couldn't you find one that fitted the rim correctly ? :?

215/40/17 on a 8.5J rim, does not work always , I quite like it , gives that streched look, the rear has 235's and looks a bit fat.

I'm a big fan of the rota's. As long as you can get them to sit right with a heavy drop... and a touch of stretch... :cool:

not sitting quite right because it was only jacked up to give the wheel a try...tyres are also a tad small but you get the picture!

Can anyone else remember the satin black 2dr 335i that was for sale on here a while back. It had white rota grids on (I think) and looked pretty good.

i can. the first time i saw that car i wanted a set. it looked awsome.
