I think it depends on what theme you are going for... If you are building a drifter then jap wheels look good.. Apart from that I think they look horrid.

They look like rota grids to me. You can get them in 4x100 now.

I think sometheing like the ones in the pics looks nice. I dont think it would look right on a non moded car though. Maybe Tech 2 kit and a nice drop

What is the story with the tyre ? Couldn't you find one that fitted the rim correctly ?

215/40/17 on a 8.5J rim, does not work always , I quite like it , gives that streched look, the rear has 235's and looks a bit fat.

I'm a big fan of the rota's. As long as you can get them to sit right with a heavy drop... and a touch of stretch...

Lots of guys in the states running rota slipstreams....enough to make me want to try!
not sitting quite right because it was only jacked up to give the wheel a try...tyres are also a tad small but you get the picture!

Different, not sure I'd put them on mine.
These would definetly work on a E30

Can anyone else remember the satin black 2dr 335i that was for sale on here a while back. It had white rota grids on (I think) and looked pretty good.
