Im looking for a budget 60/40 set up for my convertible, found a complete jamex kit for £195 delivered.
Comes with 5 year wattanty. Not sure if this covers the shocks though.
What do you think?
Cheers Zac.

is that your car in your avatar? if its a real sport, they are lower than a non sport as standard, and the drops on springs are compared to a non sport

i had -60mm all round and it stuck to the rd like hot poo.
i smashed two sumps and it crashed and banged over potholes etc.
waste of money imo

Aren't those Hottuning ones advertised on here only about £150 delivered? What about those as an alternative?

Ive got Jamex 55/60mm lowering springs - nice smooth ride, handles really well, doesn't bottom out with a couple of fat lasses in the back - Can't fault 'em.

see this is what makes me think i got a mixed box. this aint the first time i have heard someone say they have no probs. i aint got any complains with smoothness or ride etc as a 60mm lowered car is gonna be a hard ride

If you are used to an E39 530d with self levelling suspension, yep this would probably be a hard ride. Compared to a stock 325i, it really isn't harsh at all.
Now man up and get a -60mm drop.

I've looked in to them. Quite a few people saying their shocks went in few weeks/months. Put me right off.

I had a set on a touring a couple of years ago. Cheap but ok tbh.
Paid more money in the past and had worse kits. One of the better budget kit IMO.
