Sorry for another 'ECP quality' question but I'm looking at replacing the wishbones on my car. ECP have a seemingly unbranded front wishbone for £42.25, any one have any experience with them?
This is the item in question:

not very good as the ball joint are so stiff once fitted to car ,you cant even move the steering by hand ,a customer brought his car in with them needing changing to proper ones and a shot power rack because of it

I fitted one (nearside) after an MOT failure on an original BMW arm and had no problems, though the quality of the bushing did look/feel a little suspect.

I made the mistake of fitting those when my touring failed the MOT. It passed the re-test ok, but before the next MOT, they were shot again.
I then replaced them with the more expensive (Lemforder??) ones from ECP. That was over two years ago and they're still on there.
Spend the extra - if you buy cheap, you buy twice.

Lemforder ones are worth the extra £9.39 then?

Yes - if you're buying suspension components from ECP or GSF make sure they are Lemforder or Febi Bilstein - these are OEM quality - the cheap stuff won't last 5 minutes.

I fitted the ECP 'Q Drive' arms to my old 4 door, they were £30 odd each (which is why I bought them) and had done at least 10k miles when they were removed, they looked to be fine and are now on my chromie which has done around 3k miles with them.
Maybe mine were bagged up wrong?

Either way I wouldnt be paying £40 for them and would rather use some OEM parts but at the time I had twa4tted a kerb on ice and was desperate to get the car back on the road

Got a part number? Just did a search and their BQ ones (Just spoke to GSF and they're the Lemforder ones) are £47.50 + VAT and postage.

put some on over a year ago (gsf ones that is) and they were stiff as hell to start with but after 5 or so miles they freed up fine, were not to bad but just a little tight so it wouldnt self centre at first.
over a year down the line and a pair of "emotys" there still fine.
