Just thought id post this in a new thread for future refference to anyone who ever comes along wondering the same

Firstly thanks to adi, top man as always, has let me take the tech 1 to see what i think

heres some comparison pics...

i do like them both, i much prefer the tech 1 rear view to be honest, a lot more old school/classic sort of look so it with the tech 1, and retains the square boss ness of the car i think, which i really like, particularly in the last cple of pics, it makes such a difference

but i do like the tech 2 from angles too, think it suits the color of the car, and to mr average who dont know about e30s, and from "a car " sort of perspective, i do like the tech 2 and think it makes the car look a lot more sporty/beefy sort of go

Tech 1

Tech one definately, to be honest you will just get the same answers as your last post on the subject. Big improvement methinks.

i know that mate, was gonna add it to the thread but thought id make one for future refference people can search out

im leaning towards the tech 1 to be honest and prefer the rear end look a lot more and keeps the lines of the car and overall more classic look, although i like both

How did you do those photos? Do you have both and you just left the camera in the same place for each photo or are you just good with photoshop??

Just looked at it again - you have two boot lids with 318is badges.

Oh yeah - dont mind Adit stirring - Tech 1 is the winner by a country mile.

took the tech 1 pics with it just resting in the holes, then put the tech 2 on and took pics from same angle, not bad results i must say, taken with my phone

possibly mate, send adi a pm if you want it to get dibs, i have also put it to adi, and pondering just buying the pair from him, as the tech 2 is a perfect color match and its nice condition, and might be good to put in the garage and also be able to change it from time to time just for a bit of a change, im gonna sleep on it and let him know tomorrow arvo

tech 1 looks better from the side profile, but the tech 2 looks better from behind, i voted for tech 2 but under the premis that you'll be fitting tech 2 front and rear bumpers at some point.

I also asked my girlfriend which one she likes best and she went for the tech 2 thinks the tech 1 looks like a nasty bit of rubber stuck on the boot

Neither

Tech 2 looks daft if you don't fit the rest of the kit.

Tech 1 looks great on an otherwise un-kitted car.

my standard heckspoiler doesnt sit right, ive been,and am stil after a mint one in diamond schwartz, and might have to wait for the right one , hence the need/want to change

just been out in the car, and looked at it before,whilst out, and after i parked up, as i often do for a min or 2, and think the tech 1 is looking good

A tech 2 spoiler should ONLY be fitted along with the rest of the kit as it is too bulky for the car on its own, i love a tech 2 kitted car as it still doesnt look dated imho. As for the tech 1 you can fit it on its own and it compliments the classic lines of the car or even with some se sideskirts or even still with the full tech one kit on an early car, it just goes with everything.

as for leaving its bum naked thats a no no, i always think poverty spec 316 when i see that although again thats just my opinion.

I'm with just what beardymats says no to no spoiler, tec one goes with most things and tec 2 only with full tec 2 kit

I vote tech one, not a fan of the tech 2s. Or none at all for a cleaner look.

just voted for m-tech 1, i think it looks more subtle and retro

Tech 2 is my fave

no spoiler/plain boot is a defo no no ! as are any changes to the bumpers or skirts !!!

defo agree the tech 1 looks more old school cool, i like retro

Neither, without the full kit i prefer the clean line of the bootlid.

+1 to that mans logic.

You need to have the whole tech 2 kit to get the right look with the spoiler.

The tech1 looks really really good with your IS Karl I would keep it like is buddy.

If i'm honest i've never really liked tech 2 spoilers, they just scream "donuts in McDonalds car park"!
