relay.....?

does anyone know what this relay does? its a white siemens v23134-c52-x90. located near the air filter, theres 3 in total, the one in question is nearest to the front of the car. 325i sport 1989 g reg.

That's the ECU relay.

Also known as the DME relay, if you want to do a search about it.
