Found this under the bonnet.







Could someone identify it for me?

That's part of an exhaust or inlet gasket...probably exhaust.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Had the inlet manifold fixed recently so thought it might be a gasket from that, left behind by the mechanic. Since I found the piece there have been exhaust fumes getting into the car. Looks like I need a trip to the garage.
