I assume no-one's ever fitted 13's, can't see them going over the 260mm discs....
What size wheels do people really run?

17s for me - although toying with the idea of dropping down to 15s for the comfort factor
Nothing wrong with gathering some facts - makes a change from opinion once in a while.Nobby_N wrote:Who said the Zone was going down hill with $hit threads!
My real worry now is who's the guy running 20"s or over? This I have to see, pinch of salt until proven? I have one suspect in mind though, show car cab with cream interior maybe?

i epect most people are on 15" with 14" coming in second as they were the two standard fits.
then 17" as there cheeper/better tyre availability than 16" which will be 4th.
probably with 18" 19" and 20"+ coming in in that order.
and yeah probly bootys cab, theres noone else that deviant on here is there?

15" BBS on mine ( yawn ) anything more than 16" is a bit too "innit bruv" for my liking.

e30topless said : Proper BMW's have 4 headlights, last of the run was the E30 and E34/E32 anything after that is just complete shite
16" Alpinas 7's and 8's.
Ha, ha. I'm not one of them. I run 18x13 Rear & 18x11 fronts. I know 1 of the 20's is on Elfs old white Sport. It was the 1st in the Country & maybe the 2nd is the one with 22's that looks like a monster truck. There is a thread on it at the moment here.keri-WMS wrote:Looks like there's two!HairyScreech wrote:and yeah probly bootys cab, theres noone else that deviant on here is there?

Nothing wrong with the threads, this one is actually very relevent. The only person to post up '$hit' on this one is you!Nobby_N wrote:Who said the Zone was going down hill with $hit threads!
Did you actually have anything relevant so say at all?

This should be wheel therepy! All are welcome, especially those with "problems"!HairyScreech wrote:i think theres been a few ********* owners too embarrased to vote. cant be so few 14" wheels on the zone.
In all seriousness, the poll doesn't say WHO has what wheel, so all those dirty secrets are safe.......even I can't tell...

one is on 15" ronal LS
another is on 16" staggered alpinas
the daily drive currently has 14" bottles on the rear & dodgy 16" multispokes up front - they were on the car when I bought it & actually bloody light for 16's

I have both 15" and 16" rims for the M3...
The 16" are for road use and I use the 15" for track...
When I had my old E30 325 I had 15" BBS on that, too...
The e36 has 16" rims...

15" BBS track wheels and 16" BBS LMs for road driving and making the car look nice.
Had 17"s and they felt horrible looking back once I put a proper size on it.
Also have 15" XXR 002s on my other car.
I voted 16"s though as thats what are normally on my main car.
If we had to vote on most common size for brakes, I'd go 15"s
Interesting thread too
