Its my favourite E30 colour.

There was a lovely (but tatty) 320i chromie at Santa Pod this year in malachite with black leather.
I'll see if I can dig out a pic.

It's not that rare, at least not in the Netherlands/Germany:

325i (and my own E21 behind it

)

320i

318i (with green/grey roof)

Another 320i

325i Automatic

320i Automatic

316i Automatic (yes, that's really malachit)

And yet another 320i Automatic

316i
And this 320i Baur is for sale in the Netherlands:

A friend of mine had an F reg 325i 2dr that we turned into a sport rep. We added the full body kit, shaddowline trim, beige sport leather, tech 2 wheel, rear blind etc etc and a full repaint. It had M tech suspesion from new. Last summer he sold it for £3k on pistonheads after advertising it on here when people said it was over priced! Sadly i have no pics.
I also fragged this malashite 2dr.

I have a 2 door malachite green one.
So far spent 6 months looking high and low for a passenger side wing and door and still no luck. So i'd say its a rarish colour.
I'll get some pics up soon when i wind the coilys down finally

Guys get on the phone to Aldershot car spares. Most of the turds they get in are complete cars which are usually quite tidy. Its on the racking but it won't hang around long before its cubed and pillaged. E30 stuff goes quick round these parts!
They have photos on their website, under breaking for parts section
