Z3 steering rack numbers

some time ago in pistonheads i've read that Z3 steering rack (the quickest one) should have this sticker and numbers , and if no - it is regular E36 steering rack:

"...For your reference, the rack MUST have the following plate and only this plate riveted to it with the precise numbers as shown below (if it has two plates, one of them with some ZF info on it and generally with different numbers then it's the WRONG rack, it'll be a standard E36 rack"...

Could someone confirm this?

Thanks!

Wether right or rong. A e36 rack is quicker than an e30 one any way. Granted not as fast as the z3 rack but when I put an e36 rack in mine it improved. Thay are cheep. Just give it a go.

I actually had E92(?) individual for a few days this week, gave it back today! I've got to say...the rack on that was spectacular! I had to be alert looking out for the rims and speed humps, but the steering was  Any idea if the newer racks can be used for our E30s? I have a friend who deals with fresh (new) salvaged cars and does come across the E90/92 quite a bit!

Pussy magnet? - yes! Not as quick as you might percieve on taking a look at it though.
