She's a beauty, and I know you want one
Few questions though. My original plan was to 'save' it for later when other mods and a remap is done, but would it hurt to fit it now just for the hell of it ? The fuel/air mixture or anything ? I know it wouldn't provide as many ponies, but it's hard to watch it lying on the floor every day

Oh, and does it fit a standard cat system and is it hard to fit, any tips (LHD car) ?
Cheers mates

Spray the exhaust studs with WD40 for a couple of days before.
But won't do any harm putting it on.

Be prepared for smelly smoke from under the bonnet if you do this though!

Just whistle at it and mutter, 'Look at the curves on that...'
Bound to make your wife jealous!

put the rear section on first. clean the threads of the studs with a wire brush as the nuts sit closer to the head. as above, soak the studs in wd for as long as posible. I sent mine to the garage on monday evening, for fitting on friday so they could soak it!!!

Start it up and get the engine up to working temp. then while still hot, tackle the nuts. Be prepared for burnt fingers but it will help your cause

And replace all the old studs and nuts for new ones along with new gaskets.

If you have a cat fitted, it will be a 2 piece system.
You will need a 3 piece exhaust system to fit the 6 branch.

There are around 20-25 btb3's in existence that fit with the quicker, later racks.

Doh
I'm in the process of ordering a scorpion muffler, but since I need a complete 3-piece system, I'd need the muffler in the middle as well. As far as I can work out, the scorpion one is ridiculously loud. Am I right ? I want a system that is loud, when I step on it, but not when just cruising.
Assistance is appreciated !
