Are M3 panels available from the dealer?

Just a quick question...

About once a year I get the urge to make my facelift 2 door look like an M3 (why not, it's already bastardised out of MCoupé, E36M3 and E30M3 bitss..).

Are the panels still available from BMW?

From what I can tell you'd need:

New wings
Front valance
Front bumper
Plastic front inner arches
New sills
Sill covers/skirts
M3 doors
New rear quarters
New rear panel
New rear inner arches
Rear bumper
Rear screen assembly
Bootlid

I'd want to get new bits where I had to weld things in, and second hand bits wherever I could.

Just a thought, one that I have every now and again (especially when I look at my car and think: You need a paint!

What panels are available from BMW? Just out of curiosity really. If I was to make a lookey likey I'd probably start with a rolling M3.

Most parts are NLA, front wings are, and the inner arches. Bumpers/Skirts/Rear quarters definitely not.

You can get good copy fibreglass bumpers, I think genuine ones are avaliable, but very very expensive. c3 have sportevo wings and rear 3/4s. Good fibreglass copy front wings are avaliable too.

There's no front valance as such, just a thin strip under the grille, you could probably chop the bottom off a normal valance.

I think sills are pretty similar to standard ones, might be different towards the rear arch.

As usual, you're goin to struggle with the good old rear pillars / screen, not sure if the roof section is avaliable and from memory the screen is very expensive.

The roof skin is still available, and the rear screen is around the £250 mark IIRC
