E30 Zone

I was thinking about converting to 325i engine in the future and wondering how much it would cost a mechanic to do the whole engine conversion? Has anyone had a quote for the conversion? How much have you been quoted and is it worth it?

just went from 318 to 323,same horse-different jockey,lot of variables in there ,gearbox, bigger diff,larger front struts-buy yourself a shitter with the motor you want and have a crack at it yourself,youll be surprised how easy it is and you get an intimate knowledge of your cars workings.

I do not have the time or space to do this myself, maybe one day I shall try!
