Is there any clicky noises comming from drivers footwell when you turn the key?
Also the positive feed for the CL Ecu goes into the door loops round and back into the car, often the pins in the door corrode causing a bad connection which stops the ECU getting a 12v feed.
Best thing to do is to do the red/black wire mod, this involves looking for two red and black wires going into the drivers side door cut them and join them together, also i would check your fuses, not sure which one is for CL but i'am sure Mr Brianmoooooore will know

Three red/black wires on a cab, and the fuse is 27.
