if its a genuine sport and not a 325 with tech2 kit then itll be worth a fair few grand. even if it is a 325 with kit itll still be worth a couple of grand.

this car should be locked away and only driven on dry days keep the milage minimal etc. its rare to find them in low milage condition and worth keeping all original
ps, if you are thinking about selling pm me. i'd be interested in a genuine white 325i sport

1. Keep it. It owes you nothing so you have no finances locked into it.
2. Re commision it. If it's been locked away for 14 years it will need a brake overhaul and a damn good service at the very least.
3. Fill it full of waxoil or better still dinatrol.
4. As the wise man Kos says, Keep in in a dry garage and only use it (also enjoy it) on nice days and for shows. Not to be used as a daily this.
5. MOST IMPORTANT. DO NOT molest it in any way. If you do I will personally hunt you down and feed you your own b0ll0cks!
This sounds timewarp. PLEASE get some shots up asap. And take lots as it is now, and the progress of commisioning.
Good luck, I for one will be keeping a close eye on this one.

WLN had one with 16000 miles and totaly standard mint condition. That was up for sale at £15000.
Mine had 32000 on it when i got it three years ago and i payed £2500 but i was very very very lucky!
What spec has it got?
A/C, cruise, OBC, leather?

Can't wait to see this thing - it'll look the same as Maxos's one probably (except the gold BBS RS's).....

I presume that this car has round wheels?
Made to go round, not to park in a field for the masses to gawp at....
If the thing has not moved for 14 years it will need a bit more than an oil change, every rubber bush will need changing, every hose will be suspect, even the window seals will need careful examination for perishing. The battery will be useless,so will the petrol, fuel filter and fuel lines will be gummed up,brake calipers will probably be siezed....the list is almost endless..
The poor thing will need a complete overhaul,IF it has been stored in a dry garage the bodywork may well not be damaged, but the car has still seen some salt road action in it's life so not even that is ruled out.
It could well be the base for a very tidy car,but will need at least as much as it's possible value spending to make it a safe, reliable car.

Your mum sounds like a very secretive individual, she may be hiding some more motors....waterboard her.

There was a tech 2 sport that a museum in northern ireland sold a couple of years ago, had 4k on the clock, serviced to keep it roadworthy and I beleive that went for over £10k.
If the car is in as good a condition as we suspect, use it for sunny weekends and shows, and keep it warm and cosy in a dehumidified garage.
It's almost a shame that it may be too rare to use regularly.
Lucky lucky man.

Lambo doors should add value!
I think the most important thing to do is learn to drive it before you stack the thing on the first damp roundabout you reach. Sorry if that sounds patronising but it is very easy to lose the arse on one of these things compared to modern cars.

That's the best advice you'll get. If you want to kick it's arse, buy an old 325 something and do it with that first. If you wreck that motor you'll wake up one morning and there'll be a leaky E30 diff at the bottom of your bed......
The lambo doors bit is probably the worst advice you'll get

Get someone to film you driving it into a wall, then put it up on youtube. You'll be amazed at how quickly some of the fairies on here can be reduced to tears
