E30 Zone

Not been on here for a while but i've sold my touring


But i had to becuase i've just moved out to Dubai 3 weeks ago

they are alot of e30 about here but not that many nice ones arabs out here have so much money they will only have it if it new

Still looking for a M3 though

what about getting one sent over.... how expensive is that gonna be

there must be some over there, can u read arabic? check out the local exchange and mart

Mr Lee is over that way some where, I bet he knows where to find a good E30 - even if it's not in Dubai it'll be cheaper to get one from near by than ship it from the uk or Germany.

It costs 1500 quid to get one shiped over from the Uk i looked into it before i moved because i was going to bring a E30 M3 or Mk2 Golf G60 over.

But buy law they have to be LHD (not a problem with the M3 or G60) but they reallt HAVE to have air-con because its just to hot

if it must be lhd, then go to germany .. u have a whole country to choose from!!!

A word of advice though.

Be careful about buying an old-ish car, as the people who make the laws in the U.A.E are stupid morons, who change them as quickly as they change their underwear !

A few weeks ago, at one of the big Arab summit/meetings, amongst other things discussed, they have also drawn up plans to scrap any car which is older than 5 years. So you don't want to be spending big unless you know you won't make a big loss.

Having lived in Dubai and Bahrain (where MrLee is) for many years, I know what you mean about having air-con.

Just find a good mechanic/garage and have the car checked over properly, as overheating, especially on German cars, is usually a BIG problem.

Yeah i had heard that , Cant see it TBH , well i hope!!!!!!

I've found loads of e30 for sale must most of them are poo and i cant find any Sports or M3's

And i work for Al-Futtain that own Totota, honda, dodge and a load more so getting garages to check them out isent a problem
