DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE THE ENGINE NUMBER IS STAMPED ON A S14 ENGINE?
HAVE HAD A GOOD LOOK AT THE BLOCK AND CAN FIND NOTHING!

you have to take the engine apart and you find it stamped on the inside of the head!

side of the block above the starter motor on the return edge to the gear box

only time a 4 pot was right in an e30
