E30 Zone

Hi all, just thought i would see what the mileage is like on other's cars. Mines got 267k on a 88E 320i (still pulls strong and no leaks whatsoever)

Perhaps a bit of a competition for most/least miles?

p.s., scrappers dont count, has to be a decent runner

I've had:

89G 320i Manual 76k and counting
89G 320i Auto 86k
89G 320i Convertible 96k
92J 325i Touring 182k

All a bit in the middle really, no prizes here. I'd be interested to know how many cars have done upwards of say 225k on the original engine and gearbox. Whenever these threads come along, everyone mentions Brianmooooore has a touring that is 300k up, and I know Jesus325itouring's has passed a quarter million miles but has a more youthful motah.

141k on a 1.6

Mine has 216K on original gearbox and engine (86 325i).

242k on a h plate 320 touring

sold 325 with 24000 on the clock full bmwsh

There fine. Tappety when cold but goes quite once the engines warmed up.

27,000 on a 318i convertible... 1993.

84K on my 89 325i sport, bought it with 74k 2 years ago.

242k on my 98 323i

Just hit 231,000 car is registered as compleated October 1985 by Sytner. I'm the 6th owner and the car has a full service history too boot.

my old 318 had 146k on it when i sold it. It sounded like someone was hiting the engine with a hammer all the time but it done a 600 mile trip 5's up quite happily

had a 320i touring, had 182k on the clocks, mot read the sape for the last 3 years as the speedo had been unpluged! quick rumage throught the history showed that on one ocassion it lost 60k between mots and another time it lost 75k, about 12 owners! is now scrap the the head is now in my cabby with 135000 on the clocks and counting fast! 400 miles a week

89 325 Sport 185K almost a scrapper, major welding, major cash but she lives on!!

123k on 316 and went pop... camshaft new 318i has 128k

149k now, had it since january and alreay got 10k on the clocks, no major problems to report of

125k, 1.8 m10

My old 316 had 207k on it still go around too ran like a dream

101k on a 90 325se

138k on a 318is

50'000 on a 318 auto

98k on a 316 M10. Problems pop up now and again!

missed the shot by one mile, engine done 80k origonal box and diff I beleive. 222,223

150k....just run in.
