as title really,is it worth the effort of an engine change to the 3.5
or to fit carbs onto my 2.5 carbs would be very responsive on track i would of thought.
wot power gains between carbs and a 3.5

rather go for for the m50/m52 conversion as 3.5 is a heavy old lump and carbs is not cheap to do it the right way

You'll be touching 200BHP with a good M30
M30 or M52

Can't argue with that
Why not go V8 or V12 if you got deep pockets?

I'm a big fan of the M52B28 swap.. Much more modern. Loads of power, loads of torque.
I just got carried away when I was looking to do mine and did an S50 swap instead..

was thinkin of bike carbs, will rev better and still lighter
than the other engines.
i fabbed an inlet manifold for brothers corsa to run r1 carbs did 196 bhp on rollers
the std 2litre 16v vauxhall engine did 150 and with cam,s and carbs it did 196
or even e36 m3 engine?
