Help Needed With My Sport

My Gearstick on my car has fallen lower down i was putting on my gearknob and the gearstick fell down i think theres a little bolt thats snapped....im not sure it holds the gearstick up....does anyone no what that part is called as i dont no?......also when i purt it in gear i hear a grinding noise its the gearstick to lower down i think as it wasnt like this before......

Sounds like your selector rod is hitting the donut thingy...this happened to me when I first put a different ratio lever in.
The plastic cup must have been a bit worn,I'd say.

Probably just the plastic ring that the gear lever sits in.
I believe there's a 'how to' in the zone wiki..
