E30 Zone

Guys, I've come to a cross roads with my E30's and I really don't know what to do????? It can get frustrating having two when I'd rather focus my attention on one car.

I've been seriously considering replacing them with either an E30 M3 which is going to be a money pit (again, should save my money really) or a Volvo S60 R - 300bhp 4wd for £8k! I don't think selling one of them is an option as I wont be able to choose and would always regret my decision.

They are pictured below. The touring is finished and the IS is in the bodyshop getting a few things tidied up.

What should I do?

Well if you can't decide which one to get rid of I can come round and take one away and you won't have to choose...

Keep both, by the end of this year i'll have 3 cars all for myself

Dont get rid mate, they both look fantastic cars. If you did get an M3 you'd be suprised, not such a moneypit. Ive had mine 6 years and spent less than a grand a year on it and most of that was my choice and not needed. Usually service items and a bit of tlc.

don't get the volvo, it'll be fun for a while , then you'll get bored and annoyed that it's losing value and the fact that although it's quick, it's really just a volvo.

surely there must be some way to choose between the two you have and just get rid of one? then just keep that one clean and tidy without feeling the need to spend loads on it, letting you save up the cash for something interesting without having to make a clean break.

hi mate lovely motors id keep them both:D ive been meening to ask what rims are they on your white 325i? they look stunning and remind me of the Z3M alloys, wouldnt mind some of them for mine

However the volvo is tempting I think you're right mate.

Earlier this evening I drove the touring to where I keep the IS and I was leaning towards selling the IS but as soon as I opened the garage door I fell in love with it again.

I haven't been in an M3. The closest I've been is a few short journeys in a stripped out 320is track toy with a carbon airbox and leda coilovers. I've just seen the M3 in the for sale section

The wheels on the white car are Dezent Cups 16x9 et15, RH Cups are very similar.

I think it'd be easier to choose which one of my kids i'd sell!

I dont envy the choice you feel you must make,but i do envy the fact you have the choice.

I'd keep them both! In fact,i'd probably sleep in a tent on the driveway with them!

Sell me the touring I can squeeze an 8th one in if its as stunning as that!

Enjoy them and keep them. When you're 105 you can hand them onto your grandkids and they'll see the work you put into them

I envy you by having to make this choice! For what it's worth, I'd keep them both. Unless you want to sell me the touring

Top marks for the effort you've clearly put into both - cracking looking motors.

For all the effort and money that have gone into making them the cars they are its just not worth parting with them....you'll regret it then end up doing the same again!! Thats why Ive had my car for nearly 7 years now and still ask myself from time to time is it worth it!!

you own two bloody nice e30s... i think its time to flip a coin

Stunning E30s you have,if it was me and had to sell one i would sell the IS as much as it would break my heart,tourings at the moment seem to be a sought after E30 and you have a fine example of one so i would keep it and enjoy it for a lot longer good luck tho what ever you decide.

Sports, 318is's, Low mileage 2 doors and cabbys are the sought after models

If I was you i'd definitely sell both of them and get a nice M3.

They are both beautiful, but an M3 is an M3.
