I'm still waiting on my coilovers (after 10 stupid weeks) and was thinking about doing some work on the rear beam.
I was thinking about making it so I could adjust the camber/toe and then I stumbled accross this on ebay which is exactly what i was planning on doing:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/E30-adjustable-re ... 7C294%3A50
Is it someone from the Zone who makes these? Also I have checked and there is no Wiki of how to make your own, does anybody have a guide to make your own? (I have time and a welder but not £200)
Secondly I was going to get some new beam mounts but then thought why don't I just weld the mounts solid (so the mounts are solid, not actaully weld the beam to the shell), it is only a track/drift hack so comfort is completely irrelevant.
Has anybody done this before ?
Rear Beam questions?

Hi,
Ive done this myself and the plates are not too hard to fit, the only bad bit is having to grid out the oval hole in the middle but i had an air grinder so was not too bad.
You will need these to correct the camber and toe only if you lower the car, but dont expect to be able to change toe easily! The end of the bolt is up under the body so its painful to adjust (have to Lower subframe a bit!) But just set it and forget it and will be fine.
You could make these yourself, but you would need acces to a milling machine, I know someone on here has the drawings...
Look in the group buys section, people are selling them there, just get the milled ones (rather then pressed) as the pressed ones ned a bit of bodging to get to work properly (what i have!)

Like I said, I have a welder and time but no money. Might as well be £10000000000000 for the amount of cash I have left to finish the project.craigieeb wrote:what about these insted of welding your rear beam......
