You'll have a raft of people claiming to have bought cheaper Sports along any minute, and normally I'd certainly be one of them, but in the meantime - Davina McCall - for the love of god, why?

The cheapest must be when someone pays you to buy it.

Result!! Worth loads more than that in bits, but bear in mind they love to rust from the inside out. Especially when they've been stood!!

P.S Did you get it from a friend or on a website. Because no one in their right mind who knows anything about e30's would sell it for £300, not anyone I know anyway.....

I did once buy a Dolphin Grey genuine tech1 sport from a nice lady in Yarmouth.
The car had done 180k with loads of history and was bog standard, as it left the factory.
It had a rather fetching set of houndstooth genuine recaro highbacks fitted too 8)
Price?
Bought it off ebay for £300 on a buy it now with a short m.o.t and tax :)
When i got there to collect it she said she was very very sorry and it only actually had 1 days m.o.t left and did i still want it?
I said yes and gave her 200 quid for it as i felt sorry for her :P
Granted it was terminaly rusty on the underside due to living by the sea for many years but i drove it home and fragged it for a 'small' profit :P
