Do I have a rare car?

I'm no Columbo, but I reckon I might just have the original Wilhelm Wynett/William Heck 318is rally car of 1990. I know the Wynett/Heck car was originally pink and when checking the spare yesterday what did I find under the carpet - PINK PAINT!
I also know that Wynett liked to wear a German infantry helmet - mit spike - and there are tears in the headlining that would support my theory. I also read in the Goodwood archives that he liked to mount a scale model Spitfire on the bootlid as an incentive to go faster. There was just such an item under the spare.
Grateful for any help, I think this could get me into the Revival next year if I can get the documents I need.

I would if I could but my camera is at the mender's.
I reckon that it is the 1990 Black Forest stage II Class four runner-up car but I need proof.

Presumably pretty good of them to make it right hand drive, re-paint it and make it a road car again too.

Aha! You doubters, just found a WRC LHD conversion certificate in the glovebox specifically for entry into the 1990 RAC Class II Chepstow night stages.

Strange? I would of found that when buying the car. Or soon after when filing the paperwork.
Problem is, you can go on all you want but without pictures, this is just internet BS.

Could well be a forgery. Any car needs 'proof' of it's history for entry into classic races - the historical Mansifield councilring 24h series, for example.

Red wine on top of lager is not a good idea at all. Really, do not do it, you will be as sick as a dog in the morning.
Just keep on the San Miguels if I were you...

I paid three quarters of a thousand pounds for this car. I bought it from a farmer who was using it to keep barley seed in.
