My Touring has a gong fitted and wired up but no OBC,the original owner probably would have had to pay handsomely to have it "working".
If I were you I 'd be taking it out and fitting up to your car seeing as you have an OBC.

If it has a digital clock and outside temp then this is known as a "6 button OBC" and has a gong that sounds when the temp drops below 3 degrees.

more or less as long as you get one with the full loom its just a case of connecting it all up paul :)

There is more to it.

You will need the 13 button OBC unit, the correct wiring loom, the relay box, the stalk and the horn.

the relay box and horn is only for the immobiliser function though if you want it, something i cannot get to work in mine for some reason, must have missed something out somewhere  :)

I'm pretty sure there is a bridged loop in main wiring loom, remove this and the immobiliser will work.

You will need to remove the bridged loop and plug in the green/green red plug on the obc loom in place of it.

Alex if your car won't start after doing the above due to a problem somewhere in the obc etc...just replace the bridged wire plug.
