Can you guys please tell me a rough cost of what your 4.0 v8 conversions have cost and what sort of power they give.It will be going in a e30 325i cab. I have no parts and I know people who can fit the engine for me just after a rough price on what all the parts add up to. Thanks, Ash

I'd say for a good engine and manual box you are looking at £1500+
Then I would budget the same again (at least) for all the other bits and pieces you need to get it running.
As standard the engines produce 282bhp and 290 ftlb of torque, more without the CATs

^ That's a matter of preference really dude. Jonsku on here is putting an m60 into a cab and will obviously say yes but then again I have heard many guys complain about the amount of chassis flex and scuttle shake with e30 cabs. Never driven one myself. I'm not a hair dresser nor do I wear baseball caps or sunglasses :P

TBh I would happily cruise around on a sunny day with the roof down listening to the v8 rumble I'd say it would suit one perfectly for road use.
