E30 Zone

I was travelling along the m5 today, happily minding my own business and I came across a woman driving a skoda in the middle lane,
as I went to over take this woman I noticed her hand was out the window and she was giving me the finger

A little further along the motorway she overtook me again this time waving me goodbye?? once she had passed me she moved into the same lane and started to slow down

maybe she was just jealous of e30? or just a bmw driver hater?

anyone else had random abuse while in their e30??

i'd have pulled along side,smiled then booted it,let her catch up,
then do it again,pxsses em right off

Had similar happen to me on the M6 last week near Carlisle except I was driving a Skoda and a VW Golf did similar to me

Something very similar happened me in my E92 when I had it. A guy in an old beat up Rav 4 didn't like it when I came up behind him on a motorway, so he jammed on the brakes and swerved to cut me off when I tried to undertake then overtake him. He very nearly made contact with the bm twice he switched lanes so violently trying to cut me up.

Then as I went past in the end he started making gestures !!!

Some people just need to have this type of conflict in their lives.... It's no co-incidence that these people also tend to drive s**tboxes too !!!

You'll never figure out the way a woman's mind works, mate. . . . . . They'll all a bit.....

Me and a mate were sitting outside our local pub on friday evening and a bloke in an Audi A6 drove passed looking at us, and had his middle finger raised.
Me and my mate both assumed that the other one of us knew him, but neither of us did!

We guessed he was jealous of us sitting on a wall in the warm sunshine with a nice cool pint and a cigarette while he was driving a big, slow barge with a small engine!

Totally unecessary though!

I get this quite often! pounding the motorways in a white van, you often come across dwellers who don't like been overtaken by a man in a van Trouble is the old vivaro's quite a speedster when it wants to be an can go fast enough for some to bottle it!!
Not that i ever speed nor condone speeding
Although i came seriously v.close one day to taking a particular gentlmen off the road such was his innane driving, swerving violently so i couldn't get by!

I have 3 possible situations.

1) What car does your mum drive?

2) Maybe she thought you were one of those E30Zone users

3) She was saying you only had 1 brake light working?

TBH though, If someone does that to you. Act like a lunatic. Wave your hands around, swerve the car a bit eff and blind at them. Soon makes them piss off.

Being a White Man Van Myself, I'm used to it, but I don't think people know how quick modern vans are, I have a Citroen Relay 4M even with 2 pallets on it'll do a ton. I much prefer doing a ton in my E30 though

just laugh comically at people like that. it annoys them more .

Retaliation usually works, getting infront and offloading your CD's or packed lunch is a good come-back

I had a total peenarse the other day on the m4 in an e36 - he was doing broadly the same speed as me for some miles, usually in the outer two lanes for no reason, so when there was stuff to overtake, despite his rather lax attitude to lane discipline, I was comfortably able to pull out ahead. When it came to two lorries in the inner two lanes, I increased my speed slightly to ensure I was not treading on his toes, but he seemed hell bent on boxing me in behind the lorries, accelerating and matching my speed, before dropping into fourth and standing on the throttle just as I began to indicate my intention to pull out. I know I shouldn't have with hindsight, but I just yanked it into fourth and pulled the fuck out anyway, which he didn't take to especially kindly. It really pisses me off that people can't act with a reasonable amount of courtesy - I reckon he just decided he was bored of being behind me, and chose the least opportune moment possible to attempt to overtake, misjudged his closing speed and went ahead anyway, with no regard whatsoever for the progress of my journey, nor indeed my safety. I didn't react in the best way I suppose, and I bet he didn't even realise what he had done to piss me off, but I'm not sure that excuses his driving - people should be much more aware of what is going on around them and anticipate what is likely to happen. I know everybody makes mistakes, but being pointlessly aggressive and not even making progress is just bloody daft.

I then do the same to them as soon as i can. Childish I know but why do they do it????????????????

its times like this that 330bhp and 300lbft is so very handy. just laugh and wave bye bye....

yes i did, after every punch. if i can get at them i will. if were travelling and i gesture calmly to pull over theyre not going to pull in then just laugh at them and drive on.

I just laugh and wave like a speshul, it works everytime

I get annoyed at people who come up behind and flash me to get out of the way. I am not a middle or outside lane hero (ie sit there for no reason when I could be on the inside lane) but object to being flashed at when there is no where to go. On a dual carriageway doing 80mph when some woman in a Ford Ka come up behind me clearly doing some speed. Now being in a Ka I can understand why she wouldnt want to lose the speed she spent ages building up, but my objection to being flashed was that there was 3 lorrys in convoy to my left leaving me nowhere to pull over. I decided to ignore her and continue overtaking the lorries at my normal rate and then pulling in to the left to let her past, noting the large gap between the lorries and any more traffic in the left lane. Once the Ford Ka driver was alongside me I booted it away before pulling out a good distance in front of her and slowing down to the speed I was at to begin with. The Ka driver, to her credit when she caught up to me was laughing and gave up trying to overtake me anymore.

The other day i was coming from Glasgow to the Edinburgh a720 in my Matt black ratty noisy caged and slammed e21 that I half to drive slow and proper as it attracts to much attention from the plod.

Get to the round about with the 720 and a diesel mk1 mondeo pull up beside me waves and starts revving the engine and I am thinking do I know this guy. So he takes of from the lights across the around about, i follow at normal pace see pull in to the inside lane several car lengths ahead, at the next junction I need to make a right turn towards the Gyle so I move to the outside lane, pass all the traffic queueing on the inside lane, as I pass the mondeo he pulls out behind me flashes the lights and gives the finger follows me off the roundabout onto another short section of dual carriage way, so I let him pass as he gives a bit more abuse.

Then he does a 360 at the round about comes back the other way, lights, finger, and back onto the A720.

I just thought random if a guy gets that wound up when he does not get a traffic light grand prix, he needs to get something better than a diesel mondeo.

had a similar one last week saw guy in white astra van was comin up to overtake a lorry so gave him plenty of room to pull out but he wound down his window anyway and gave me a right good gesture ! now i am never one to feel roadrage as have quite a laid back constitution but in this case i feel i had no choice than to follow him home knock him out tie him to his garden fence and barbeque and eat his poodle in front of him.i feel both parties now have learnt from the experience and are considerabley better drivers as a result
