I thought he actually got away and was caught 3 days later with it still parked up his path.
Thats just something i've heard before. Because you don't see him getting dragged out of the car.

i love this video for many different reasons. not only does the LT1 have twice the cylinders but almost has 100hp more than the m3... yet it leaves the fat lardy camaro in the dust!
correct me if im wrong but apparently when the deputy almost got rammed didnt he swerve towards the m3 and then throw himself off the road?
youve got to love the american chases and how they try to make their cars match up to the superior german machines...

your possibly right... at the end where the m3 'breaks down' it repeats the scene where he brakes hard to turn around.

The power to wieght the M3 has the advantage I would guess, and handling of course.
Doesn't it say somewhere in the vid that the M3 was super/turbo charged? Has the guy got his basic M3 facts wrong or was this particular car FI? Which would explain how well it goes.
