E30 Zone

Off to see a touring (again!). Full leather, cruise control, darkened glass, sunroof... 600 quid!

Can someone remind me what the rust areas are on these beasts, especially considering there's a sunroof involved. I've had a Merc W123 which was rotten from the sunroof, so I'd love to hear that it shouldn't be a pain.

Rocker panels, around the tail lights, around the bumper mounts, front fenders, front floor board right behind the front tire

Nice to get some trans-Atlantic help So sills, rear lights,, front wings, and the front floorpan around the inner wheel arch...

would also check rear arches as well as these tend to go on E30s, have just rebuilt my entire rear arch this afternoon, the area inside the rear arch/quarter panel can also rust, mine had rusted right the way through so had to but some P40 on it ... car cancer
