i was just on a honda civic type r site as my girlfriend is looking to buy one i asked a few questions, what a bunch of wa####rs with there smart ass comments,

i have to say that this forum is alot more welcoming than theres, and they say people who drive bms are cocks huh

This happens on most other forums, "everyone who drives a bm is an arsehole".

Then you take them up on it and they say "oh, its ok yours is an old one" or something. Its lame and bloody naive.

A lot of it originates from envy. If you cant have it or dont have it, then throw insults at it. Great attitude...not.

I put my first post up on one of the Saab forums introducing myself after I bought Mrs G a 9-3 Aero. Got sod all responses. Kinda makes me wish I'd never bought her the Saab, but it's a great car all the same. Sod the Saab website I say..

PS the trim was for my 5,I lost it months ago and it suddenly appeared,evidently been there a long time,I just hadn't noticed it!

I'm a memebr of multiple BMW forums (fora?) and I find generally they attract proper keen enthusiasts so are typically quite friendly compared with other 'lesser' marques.

I was recently welcomed on here but in the past been on Ford sites where every single person is an RST, cvh, zetec, expert that turns out to know nothing but owns a copy of Autodata. Also my VTEC just kicked in mid sentence there and the second cam went waaaaaa.
