Hi Craig
Not meaning to hijack your thread but, how's the 2.7 going?
Did you ever get your E30 Zone Gold Star for removing the 2.7 when the weather was a touch inclement?
The scrappies had a whail of a time trying to pull the touring up onto the lorry, the prop shaft kept on turning after they had strapped it up through the gear stick shaft onto one of the seats!

Cost me £100 for next day for M50 engine& box from Scotland down to York with Saturday delivery
others have raved about a company called paisley freight, not sure if any of these will do Ireland though

I got two M42 engines and boxes sent over to me in Southern Ireland. It was through an Irish company. They picked them up. Cost €140. Once the engines are drained and secured well on the pallet it's no hassle. If you want the number I'll pm it to you.
