Anyone been tugged for their rear indicators flashing red?

should they not have green bulbs in ?

I quite like that, police around me dont really bother you that much or they just give you a warning saying change them next time its a fine

Not at all, ive had a scumbag, sorry, I mean police officer whinge about them while ticking me off for something else but never had problems.
My car in the sig went through 2 MOT's with the red rears

With standard bulbs btw

never been pulled because of them, but would think a defo Mot failer

I have a spare "MOT" set.

all American cars need to have orange indicators when on our roads, otherwise they ain t legit. that's how it was when I imported the old mans stang.

Liking those lights DIY them yourself?

Yes, its easy stuff to use, always gives a good result and they always look propper.

What did you use?

I've got a set with reverse lights left, and a set with reverse lights tinted. Think it looks better all red on my white cabby tbh. I also have a spare 'mot' set

Remember when it was sold, i said if it didn't go i would lose the Alpina theme and Euro it?

Well the Alpina bits have mostly gone, the other things were the rear lights, drop, and dish wheels... so your right, just need some A's now

And some german plates and a bonnet bra

I would give it a go mate, it cant look worse than orange with red.
I think i would leave the reverse bits white on a red car though.

aye.. woudnt touch the reverse, sure il maybe give it a go..

if it looks stupid im sure theres ways of getting the spreay off

This is a pic of my brilliant red touring with DIY tinted lights. I like it..

You could put a pair of your dads tights over the lights so they still flash orange.

Are there any equivalent options for pre-facelift rear lights?

I never had a tug for my red's and i passed an mot with em on the tech 1.

Here's my IS, just to show an example of a white E30 with all-red rears. (Ignore the mudflaps and chavtastic exhaust trim as they're coming off when the car goes into paint).

I'm doing the lights for my zinnobar red touring this week and can't decide whether to paint the whole light including the reverse lights or just the orange indicator??????????????

I like the red rears hoping do a diy on a spare set i have, think i will leave the reverse light's clear

I will also be sticking this in the middle of them
