they were sold for a good few years in the mid 90s, on a ta01 / ta02 chassis, allongside several others. back then, when i was a yoof i chose an alfa 155 dtm bodied version.
they rereleased the m3 for a very short period approx 3 - 4 years ago, on a much more basic chassis but the same body and trim as the original. (this time i bought an integrale to keep as a shelf queen) the rereleases do pop up on ebay from hongkong now and then, but i havent seen an original 90s one for quite some time.

Yea mate, all four wheel drive.
What exactly are you after, if you're after the first production run you'll be looking at £400-£500 for one of these.
If your after the last run, you'll pay about £100 -£130 from Hong kong on flee bay.

The 155 was my all time favourite touring car, Just looked mega in either BTCC or DTM guise. Alfa really did well on tweeking the rules with the adjustable front airdam, Crafty sods.
Still remember Tarquini popping it onto two wheels when pushing it Heroic days of proper touring cars.

the last year of proper btcc before standardised rear wings and splitters. the late 80s / early 90s really were a fantastic era for motorsport. pretty sure it's not just rose tinted specs either
i'd still own a 155 silverstone. i know they weren't very good road cars, but they were a proper homologation special, came with an extendable front splitter and a raiser kit for the rear spoiler in the boot i doubt it made a huge difference to the cars, but seeing as alfa wiped the floor with everyone for the first handfull of races it was pretty ovbious the others were going to find something to kick up a fuss about

I bet he didn't need his harness to stay in the seat, His arse would have sucked him to the base!
I love the look of the cars of that era, Just road cars on huge wheels. Going to have to dig out a BTCC dvd now

Really was the good old days wasn't it, I used to love watching Cleland and Radisich swap paint through corners, usually followed by Cleland swearing on the in car camera or some choice hand signals.

first run cars had a different chassis setup, based on the mantaray off roader but with shorter wishbones and dampers to suit a scale 1/10 shell. they came with oil filled dampers and an adjustable ball differential at the back (primative lsd)
the rereleases use a much cheaper chassis (can't remember the code) with friction dampers, and standard open diffs at both ends. the body, mouldings, decals and wheels are identical on both early and rereleases.
my ta02 chassis had vast amounts of my paperround money spent on it, my rerelease chassis has never turned a wheel under it's own power so i can't comment on how they drive compared to each other!

Rav check the one in america on ebay!! not sure if i like the controler though, let me no what you think??
Nope not the built one.
It won't take long to put it together, 1/2 day maybe 3/4.
Its is time consuming, but if you want to add aftermarket parts you can while u build it.
After market stuff will take 7 days to come mind from china.
