Went on a bit of a road trip today, was 157 miles and only saw 1 E30!

And I keep my eyes on the road the whole time as I get really bad motion sickness!
It was a very rusty Henna Red Moredoor!
Although I did see alot of Mercedes W201's!

I thought E30's were more common!
So were are they all...........

last 4 long journeys i have been sat in the passenger seat i have counted more DB9's than e30s
did a 400 mile trip today counted 3 DB9s and two e30s
the other 3 times it was 1 or non e30s and 4 -5 DB9s

Last year, I was travelling a fair bit between Perthshire and Caithness. Being aa E30 nerd, I thought I'd count the mileage from leaving Caithness until the point where I clocked another E30. The milage was somthing like 950 !!
E30's are becoming very rare in these neck of the woods..

shed loads where I live in north london. there's 4 in the car park for my block of flats for a start.
2 round the corner on the way to the tube as well which I'm sure must belong to a zoner as he keeps taking them to bits, swapping wheels etc
haven't seen any today, but then I'm in san francisco.
lots blinged up 540's and e36s about though

So how is this a bad thing i hate seeing loads about. The less E30's the more value my car will hold.

You'd better get some new batteries in the camera Geordie.
There should be an additional 4 on Saturday and Sunday.
All round to Geordie's hoose for a photo shoot

I just went to the Milton Keynes chav night (hockey stadium every sunday) and there was 1 , a black 2 door chromie, very tidy- no badge but i think it was a 325.
That was it, 4 mustangs, 5 cossies, 9000 subarus, 2000 golfs, mk2 escort ect... ive started taking mine to remind people they exist.

Only used to see one other when I bought mine, however round my way the numbers are gradually increasing. There is a green 320 touring parks up the road from where furbster hides his track toy in his garage. Don't think there are more than three zoners from my way.

Theres about 3 on my street, and I see about 30 E30s in slough everyday.
Theres this proper councilled up white E30 with reiger kit and everything on it which just drives around loaded with people 24-7, non stop lol.
That guy also owns 2 other E30s, and is always in the carpark opposite my house about 500m away every night doing burnouts on his own....

Plenty about in Norwich, especially 4 doors and Tourings which seem popular with older people.
I normally see a couple on trips down the A140 as well.

Having spent every minute of spare time working on mine for the last few weeks I can honestly say I'm now sick of the sight of E30's! - it will pass though!
In all seriousness, they are definately on the decline. They were one of the most common cars on the road a few years ago but clearly a lot are getting scrapped.

Thread Revive!
Today I saw 5 E30's! Although no chromies!

I saw:
- A Black touring, dead on the side of the motorway
- A Red325 Sport
- A White 2dr with council rims
- A Red touring with "Bling" or "chrome" wheels
- A Blue Touring.
Thats an improvement really! Although also saw:
- 2 AC Cobra Replica's or Real not sure!
- 2 Dodge Vipers
- A Corvette
- A Porsche 356B Coupe
- A Lancia Stratos
- A Daimler / Jaguar Mk2 Thing!
- A Alfa Romeo SZ
- 4 VW Split screen Campers
I could go on! It was a good car spotting day today!
They all make you feel a bit pikey when your in a 190E booming along in the fast lane!
