I have a 3.64 lsd from 100k car that has just had an oil change no noise and works perfect. Would anyone know anyone who would be interested in a swap for a 2.9/3.1lsd. Dont know the value of my dif or the high ratio one etc. Advice on what they are both worth etc anyone interested? Would save me looking for m42 gearbox for the m50 swap. Thanks

Is that really the best diff for the M50?? Ive got a 3.25/1 at my mums....spare from the M3. Apart from an M3 where would you get one from??

I think it is only the m3 mate if it is medium case. Would you sell it or take my mint 3.64 as swap? Thanks

why not spend the money on a proper diff - such as quaiff or gripper rather than paying m-tax?

Last time i priced a quaiff atb it was £590 +vat and then doesnt it need shimming etc cant afford that was hoping someone would take my lsd in part ex. Is it possible to change the back plate on a e36 m3 diff and make that fit? I am sure i herd that was possible and i know were there is one at a decent price?

Im sure the E36 doesn't come with 3.25/1 diff?? Sorry mate I want to hold onto mine just incase I want to revert to standard.

Why the need for the 3.64 anyway?? Im sure you'd rather stay with the 3.64 cos the other options are just too long....you'll hardly need a 160mph top speed will you.

is there an Mtax on these ?
everytime ive seen e30 lsd's sold recently theyve all been roughly the same price regardless of ration/donor

£250 - 300

E36 325 and 3.0 M3 came with 3.15 - pretty close to the 3.25
E36 328i came with 2.93 and a lot of people prefer the 3.15

Yeh i would be happy with either to be honest. E36 diffs can be use with different back plates then?
