i knw this is not an e30 but looking for some advce about weather the m50 engine will fit into the 318ti compact e36. coz it already has the lsd on it?

yes the m50 will fit in a compact... hell even a s50 will fit in there!

BMW themselves put the M52 in it on the continent (323ti).
