Hey guys, I was just flicking through pistonheads as I usually do and I found this, but for some reason it doesnt appear all orthodox to me.
Take a look:
http://pistonheads.com/sales/938017.htm
Hope the way the seller speaks doesnt reflect the way the car has been looked after!
Where any e30 m3s produced in 1984??
My e30 radar tells me its a replica..............Correct me if Im wrong!!

Nah thats a fake! M3's weren't until 1986, and the bumpers look wrong, it doesn't have the M3 rear windscreen surround (don't know what the parts called) I could go on........
So 100% FAKE!

It must be an M3 it had a huge //M badge on the instrument cluster
a dead giveaway to its authenticity is the fact its a RHD, factory only made in LHD with exception of a few documented ones converted by UK dealers

dash is a standard e30, the m3 had a temp guage where the mpg meater is, also bk's are most often 4 stud where as the m3 has a 5 stud hub. As MrLee said never a factory rhd car done.
Will p/x for an e36 m3 LOL , swap it for a 316 in fiberglass drag.
Also the extreamly poor command of English would put me off. Must be the 1st m3 add with no shoots of a s14 nor the interiera. Don't look very solid either.

It's 100% not an m3. The seller is either very stupid, or hoping to scam someone who doesn't know any better. Front bumper is wrong, wrong hand drive, non m3 cluster, wrong seats, wrong rear window, sideskirts blended into the arches and probably a wholeload more when you see it in the flesh.
Anyone in the area with a real m3 fancy going for a look at it?

some one can not have paid 6k for that? i have never even been in an m3 but know thats fake! i would have thought anyone buying an e30m3 would know every tiny detail about them, the main one being lhd unless it comes with a birds documented rhd conversion! seriously if this has sold i feel really sorry for the numpty thats fell for it!

ive seen it a couple of times, last time was like 9 days ago (iirc). its fake, a 323i i think, is a lot worse than the pictures, really tatty a good runner though plus no rust (which is impressive for a car made in 1984.

High Wycome has actually changed a lot in recent years. Coming from Maidenhead, we always turned up our noses at Wycombe, Slough and Reading etc... but im surprised at just how much they have all improved .... just not Windsor or Maidenhead !!!
However there are still parts of High Wycombe that I,m told are a bit of a no go area !!

its right hand drive and the rear screen looks wrong. Think someone from the pardon club should pay him a visit too looking at his spelling.

btw, about the car, the arches are not even the right M3 items. the bumpers are miles off, really a poor job.
