Yep. peice of the proverbial. I went to a car boot sale this morning, and got myself a blaupunkt cd300 car cd player ,plugged it into my car, entered the code (which some helpful soul had written on the top) and away it went.

Total cost? five of your finest English puonds.

happy as f*ck.

I don't mind. a working cd player is a working cd player. Blaupunkt? that'll do me. Five quid? icing.

I sort of got a free one last week!
About a month ago I bought a 325 touring (unseen), and, when I collected it, found that it had a removable face radio with the face missing. Called in at my (auto trader) brother in law's on the way home, and he commented on the useless half radio as well.
Was poking about inside the car last week, and happened to push the remains of the radio. Whirring sound, and all of a sudden, the front face of a radio swings up, around, and into place, revealing a fully functioning radio/CD! Very clever!!

All this talk of bargain car radios from car-boots makes me a little nervous.
Now that unemployment is back will Autoglass shares be going up?
