too much ,you can do the swap cheapish ,why even put a messy picture of the engine from when it was getting fitted then get a new picture up ?

It's worth whatever a seller and a buyer agree on for the car to change hands.

If it cost 7 grand to compleate why not do it your self and save your self 2 grand ?
Why ask for 2 grand extra just for fitting it ?
You see cleos and corsas with ten grand spent on them and it dosent mean there worth it .

9K? no chance. the 7k to complete sounds about right but you never get back what you spend never mind 2k more. its a bit messy under the bonnet as well.
i wouldnt get near that for mine and mine is stage 3 with bigger turbo, grp a headgasket and ported and polished head and my brakes and suspension have been done along with the lsd,tech2 kit and leather interior.
the labour to fit the engine ,box etc and to get it running cost me £2600 and that was with me supplying all the parts from my previous conversion . the last time i paid for a complete drive in drive away finished job it cost me £5500 all in but that was 5 years ago now and using standard parts, its £900 for a new bigger turbo ,£600 for a recon ported polished head on top etc etc

Dont get me wrong, if they were BMW motorsport M3 wheels on 5 stud I wouldn't have said they were snyde... But it is just one indicator of snydenesss.. Being willling to fit 4 stud rip offs to his project car then wanting 9k? Joker..

How long ago was it on ebay? I cannot find it in completed listings. I do not think anyone would pay £9000.

hahaha, guys the pics are old and its not finished yet ! i only put it up to 9k to stop people hassling me as i was selling it for 2000 before the conversion and my phone has been smoking from all the calls, the wheels were only put on while i wait for the 5 stud hub conversion,i was quoted 6000 labour alone so did it myself seeing as im a mechanic, it drives perfect and goes like a rocket, the suspension has been done and it handles realy nicely ! although i am looking for better rollbars, yet to be fitted is the strut brace,t4 stage 3 kit, braided hoses and big brake conversion, the tidy up is work in progress .ill post as and when there is something to tell! i took it to milton keynes cruise last night and got loads of abuse for being in"an old e30 shit heap"
this was coming from turds driving corsa's and pugs so i laughed it off and showered them in tyre rubber ! should have seen their faces when it lit up 1st,and 2nd before fcukin off into the distance !
are there many other guys on here that would be into hitting milton keynes cruise ?
id like to show up mob handed and show them what a car cruise should look like ! not a load of plastic crap that gets polished daily and driven rarely,,,,,,,, nice strong bmws that go like a rocket and get driven hard !
any takers ?
its every sunday

I gotta say at least its got a proper engine as opposed to crappy standard engines which have hardly any power
Re:

I'd have a M30/M50/M52 turbo over that anyday

standard cossie engine is good for over 400BHP with just a few bolt on upgrades
can a standard bmw engine do that?
Dont forget the cossie engine is only a 2.0l four pot and im assuming some of you guys will come back with a 5l v8 bmw engine can do those performance figures - yes but its a friggin 5litre v8 so should be doing more than that anyway,
agreed on the engine install - it can be a lot neater
