What do you need?

I have two on the drive ATM and broke one about a year ago.

Steering wheels from 85 on cars will fit the E30.

I've got a 635CSi Highline. Absolutely no problem getting parts- BMW still has virtually everything for E24s.

Who did the conversion?

E12 or E28 base?

Is it a full convertible or a Baur type.

I know a chap in Wales with one and there's another one that pops up for sale every now and then.

it`s e28 based, not sure who converted it but someone i spoke too thought it may have been done by barn garage in bradford?, baur type and a very good quality conversion.

i`ve had the car for nearly 7 years, had the engine and suspension rebuild when i first got it(quick car with the manual box), then put it in the lockup and pretty much forgot about it.

Thats A GOOD looking convertable car
Dips FACE LIFT e24 s were based on e28 floor pan , lots of the steering drive trian is the same , is just the £500 front wings that kill them off

i love e24s but when ever i v e look at "mint ones , my magnets sees filler in the front wings !!
but a second one to break its cheaper i nthe long run cheers Franky

Bonnet shocks and Spark plug leads are definitely OK.

I've never seen a decent s/h kidney grille - I have a couple of dented ones? Even my own car has a dent. £65 from the dealers IIRC.

What sort of steering wheel? Fine spline or coarse?
