i was lucky fella

, no serious dinks, just a light breathing of a kerb here and there. used a dremmel to polish it all out. now they are spanky

The BMW motorsport rims are normally painted nogaro (sp?) silver on the inner bits like johnono has done. Your local $tealer should be able to relieve you of your hard earned $. Or get Halfrauds or the like to mix some up for you.

they dont look too bad fella, only a little worse than mine were, just get in there with a barrel sander (the little tube type sander rolls) and smooth it out all the way round.
i spent a good few hours going over and over and over them again, until they were minty again

nice one geeza!
tbh, it looks good because the lips are scrape free. if they were dinked up then it might not look as good. i did the rim lips with a dremmel (top bit of kit!!) then sanded with paper all the outer facets, masked up the rim, wiped the rim down with spirt, primed with the red primer so i could see what id done.
i silvered the whole wheel. then when dry masked the rim so it was nicely covered and then did the centers in the grey. when i peeled off the mask i had a beautiful line all round. so i caked it with clear lacquer to seal it.
jobsa goodun

Look spot on mate, but i would really recomend having them rebalanced with stick on weights on the inside, for one looks so much better and also when the weights are knocked on they tend to break the paint and will eventually cause water to get in there and start to bubble the paint.Other than that great job!
