E30 Zone

hey!

i want to put a 2.5 engine into my 318, just wondering if it matters where it comes from, i.e can i use a touring donor even tho mines a 2 door or is the running gear different?

p.s if anyone has a 325 they want rid off let me no

Any car will do as the running gear is the same no matter what body style.

can i use the 318 diff or am i going to need the lot off the donor?

You could use the small case from the 318, but it might not hold up to the B25s torque for very long, plus the final drive might be a bit short for a daily.

i take it i can leave the 318 brake servo in place nd the master cylinder? i mean can i keep the original clutch fluid lines and all those bits and bobs

They are all the same,not too sure on the clutch slave though!
