I think, although to be honest I'm biased, that Calypso looks good with a dash of chrome.

and that is WAY overpriced.

Maybe the "Alpina Bodykit" has yet to be colour coded, because, erm... I don't see it.

I probably should'nt say this but apart from the grill which I think he should have left black, I like it. I think it makes it look a bit more modern.

I am standing by for a rifting now!

If I'm honest, if the grille wasn't colour-coded I think on the whole it's not too bad.

Bit pricey, but ok.

Personally, I don't see much more wrong with this than painting the front kidney black and making the headlights look tinted... too much red or too much black.. horses for courses as they say. I wouldn't colour code mine this much, but neither would I want it looking like I'd sprayed a thick black line across the front of my car either. Maybe it's just me :)

Ian

At least a black grill an chrome kidneys would break up that scheme.............. :?

The grill and B pillars are big no no's for me when colour coding an e30. Black B pillars make the side windows almost blend making the car look longer and lower.

colour coding grilles was alright for hartge in the 80s...

...wasnt it?

A lot of things were acceptable in the eighties, few of them stood the test of time. Also depends on the colour. Completely black cars or any very dark colour can look pretty cool.
I've got a Zender kit for a mk1 Golf; it may of looked ok then (probably not!) but I'm too young too remember - 24. One things for sure it looks dog meat now. 8O
